Who does Irina work with?
Irina works with teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, family instability, behavioral concerns, alcohol abuse, substance use, and difficult life transitions.
Do you offer individual, couples, and family therapy?
Yes. The type of therapy depends on the concern, the people involved, and what appears most useful.
Do you work with teens who do not want therapy?
Yes. Many teenagers are hesitant or resistant at first. Early sessions focus on building trust and understanding the teen’s perspective rather than forcing immediate disclosure.
Do you work with young adults over 18?
Yes. Young adults may face many of the same emotional and developmental challenges as teens while also dealing with independence, college, careers, relationships, finances, and adult expectations.
Can parents contact you when a child refuses school?
Yes. School refusal can affect the entire family and may be connected to anxiety, depression, social problems, family conflict, learning concerns, or other issues. Therapy may help the family understand the pattern and determine appropriate next steps.
Do you help families dealing with self-harm?
